I'm Sean. I'm a writer, composer, educator, and non-profit professional living in Brooklyn, NY. I have an MFA from NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, as well as Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Queen's University in Canada, where I was born and raised.

Since 2018, I have worked for Flight Path Dance Project, a non-profit repertory training and career preparation program with a mission to make dance economically accessible, by way of our tuition-free mandate. I started out as the Program Assistant, and am proud to now serve as Program Director. Working for this organization and supporting so many young, gifted artists as they launch their careers has been incredibly fulfilling and inspiring.

As a musical theatre writer, my work has been produced by the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, New York Theatre Barn, the Drama League, Two River Theater, and elsewhere.

My musical Saint Sebastian, with music by Jinhee Kim, has been produced by the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, New York Theatre Barn, and the NYU Tisch New Musical Theatre Workshop, and was shortlisted for the O'Neill National Music Theater Conference.

My musical The Covenant, a queer re-telling of the story of David and Jonathan from the Book of Samuel, was recently developed at the Catwalk Art Institute and presented at the Dramatists Guild.

Recently, I won the Drama League's Anthem for the Future of Theatre for my song "One Day”, with music by Paulie Pecorella.
